The owner of this Jeep passed away, and has left it sitting in a garage since 1980. We purchased it from the family estate and cleaned the carburator, and emptied the fuel tank to install a new sending unit. We also put new brakes on it along with rebuilding the master cylinder. The Jeep starts up & runs surprisingly good after sitting all those years. The tires were new before parking it in the garage so there is a lot of tread, but they do have some weather cracks. We took pictures of the worst rust spots on it that lie under the passenger seat. Other than that the Jeep is ready for a good restoration, everything is still all original. Still all original paint. It is a 2 owner vehicle with the 2nd owner owning it since 1973. It comes with the original title of 1973, and books. The family attest that the 48,000 miles are true and actual. This is the CJ3B series which gives it the overhead motor, and the raised hood with the military style fenders. 1964 was the last year for this style.
