2002 GMC Yukon XL SLT -- 5.3L V8 -- 145k miles -- CLEAN TITLE, Collision-Free -- Leather, Rear Entertainment DVD, 3rd Row, 8 Person Seating -- Upgraded 18” OEM wheels -- Good Tires - 6/32 remaining -- 2nd owner -- NOTE: CarFax states more than 2 owners. Previous owner had the car registered under his business (realtor) and then moved it under his personal name. Exterior This is and has always been a Florida truck. It hasn’t ever seen salt on the roads. The body is in good shape overall. There is NO RUST on the truck whatsoever. The truck has never been flooded or had water damage. There are some scratches from normal wear and tear, but has never been in a collision. All body panels are original, and all paint is original. There are minor scratches to the hood and roof that have been touched up. These were due to flying debris from a hurricane a few years back. Truck is equipped with 18” GM alloy rims and Bridgestone tires with 6/32 of tread remaining (11/32 new). Additional features include roof rack, fog lights and running boards. There is also a factory installed tow package with a 2” receiver and 7-pin plug. The exterior color is Metallic Pewter. Interior The interior is leather and is in good condition considering the age of the truck. I condition it a few times per year so it won’t dry out. The leather on the front armrests is worn and cracked. The rest of the leather shows only normal wear. The head unit was recently replaced with a JVC unit with iPod controls, Pioneer door speakers, and Kicker 8” in the OEM location. A cassette player is installed as well from the factory. The truck comes equipped with a DVD player and 7” LCD in the ceiling. This is an aftermarket addition. The DVD plays through the speakers via FM modulator or wireless headphones. Additionally, there is a 2-zone climate control with separate AC components for front and rear. The AC blows cold. The front compressor was replaced 2 years ago. The rear view mirror has temperature/compass readings built in, but recently has not been showing the readings. The power mirror switch on the driver’s side will not move the mirrors to the right. It might be a harness connection because it worked prior to the speaker in the doors being installed. Mechanical The truck is mechanically sound. The engine revs up with no problems and runs without knocking or ticking. The 5.3L V8 always provides adequate power. The transmission shifts smoothly and precisely from gear to gear. The brake pads were recently replaced and have about 250 miles on them. Synthetic oil has been run in it since we bought the truck in 2004 @ 36k miles and changed when the indicator lights up at 7500 mile intervals. I replaced the battery recently. It starts the truck immediately without hesitation. There are no MIL’s (malfunction indicator lights) on the dash showing any engine problems or any kind. Terms This Yukon is being sold as is.
