1973 FJ40 Landcruiser: straight 6 Toyota Engine with 3 spd, odometer works, not sure if this is actual miles but would have to say it is since these are not usually highway driven vehicles, top speed is 50-55 mph, working "Ramsey" winch, soft top, Bikini top, hardtop (new fiberglass, coated and painted) and doors. I originally purchased this vehicle May 2009 up in Eastern WA, from a woman who said she was the 2nd owner and that it has never been in a coastal region. She had all of the work under the hood done but had not gotten to the body yet. The tub was rusted through in the back and sides. I had rusted areas completely replaced with all new metal in Fall 2010. Complete exterior paint job completed May 2011, also Kevlar lined interior at same time and had roll bar installed (not the full cage type). Had new Brake Booster installed by Les Schwab June 2009 (Drum brakes front and back). Front seats need to be replaced with new foam. The back two jump seats have some tears in them. Tires are still good (running BF Goodrich Radial Mud Terrain 285/75R16), but I had planned to replace them next Spring (if it does not sell) with a smaller size to get better gas mileage. It runs good, I have had no mechanical issues since I have owned it and yes, I do drive it regularly in all seasons. One of the previous owners had the undercarriage coated but it is flaking off now. No serious rust issues just some surface rust around hood hinges and under fenders, no holes (see pics). I do have the toyota and 4x4 decals just did not want to drill holes in the new metal. Also have the 2 side marker lights and the spare tire attachment. Turn signals are installed in the bumper and they do work. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if someone offers my top cash price. Deposit of US $500.00 within 24 hours of auction close.
