1941 series 62 cadillac coupe restored. This is a body off restoration. It has been converted to 12 volts neg. ground. The car has been completely rewired; front to rear. All lights,horn and gauges work properly No mileage since it was finished. Health issues force sale. The chassis was steamed cleaned, then sand blasted, repainted with POR-15. All brake and fuel lines were replaced with new reproduction lines. The front end was rebuilt w/ new king pins, tie rod ends, idler arm, upper and lower pins, lower control armshafts and bushings. The rear springs were rebuilt and all new spring shackel rubber bushings replaced. Fuel tank was professionaly cleaned and tested for leaks . A new fuel sender float was installed. All new brakes were installed. To include all 4 wheel clyinders, master clyinder, shoes , adjusters ,springs hold down hardware and all rubber lines replaced. New front wheel seals. Drums were checked and resurfaced. Engine was rebuilt , new cam , pistons , bearings , timing gears and chains , new valves & guides, new lifters. This was done by a professional machine shop. It has a rebuilt carb, starter, generator, fuel pump, water pump. It has a new battery, regulator, new coil, cap and wires. The engine is the orginal engine that came with the car when built. Numbers match the chassis. Transmission and converter is a rebuilt 1948 cadillac trans , I used this because they preform better than the 41. they have some improvments the 41 does not have. Both universal joints have been replace with new USA made parts The body of the car was stripped to bare metal all repairs were done. There is very light bondo on some of the panels , and I do mean very light bondo.It was primed with epoxy primer and painted with 2 stage paint in an orginal 41 caddy color called El Centro green. The interior was redone using a vinly seat covering . New rugs and head liner. The dash and window trim were professionaly wood grained. The dash board was not molested or cut or modified in any way. There is a am fm radio mounted below the dash, with the speaker mounted where the original would be. All new glass in doors ,windshield quarter windows. The rear window is orginal. All rubber on the car, trim or weatherstip seals, tailight mounting rubber replaced . To much to list! There are 4 brand new Cooker tires and tubes. That are mounted and balanced on the car. A spare in the trunk. A restored orginal jack and stand are also in the trunks storage compartment. There are a pair of orginal skirts with the car, that need to be painted. They are rust free. I have a brand new set of emblems for them. Along with the car go extra interior materials , for seats ,rugs ,headliner. I also have matching paint for the engine, as well as the body color. and the interior paint on the column, hand brake, etc. There are many extra parts , carb , lenses, belts , drag link parts to much to list here. Almost forgot the Rocker mouldings. I have the correct rocker mouldings. They need polishing and installation. I have the correct mounting clips too. I've tried to describe the car as best I can. The car was not rebuilt to sell , It was my hope to enjoy it with my grand kids.
