There is no listing for a Townsman so I used Impala which is the same body style. I'm regretfully selling my 1969 Chevrolet Townsman six passenger Wagon as other things have taken priority and the car has been stored pretty much the last six years and only driven approx. 800 miles. Mileage on the car is 68,100, we believe these are the original miles because the car presents itself very well with minimal wear for a 43 year old car, components have only aged. Factory options are 327 V8 2 bbl. Automatic, power steering and brakes, AM radio, power locks, air shocks and factory blue tinted glass. One repaint in the factory original white. With a blue interior and the factory tinted glass the car really looks nice, one of the nicer color combo's for sure. Second owner found the car stored in a shed in the mid-west and performed all the maint. to bring it up to date, tuned up, all new fluids, brakes and brake hoses, belts and hoses, I purchased it from him. It has also been updated to factory electronic ignition. I had a full dual exhaust system installed with tailpipes in their factory location, very nice job. I have just replaced the carpet with new factory molded exact original. Floor pans were very clean and untouched. I have replaced the intake and valve cover gaskets, rebuilt the carb., replaced the fuel pump, replaced the factory air shocks and lines, brake hoses etc. ,tires, fluids and repaired or replaced anything it has needed. The interior is clean, dash pad is perfect, dash never messed with or cut, factory radio (doesn't work), headliner very nice with one hole about 1/4" some of the plastic trim has discolored which GM had a problem with front seat has cracked from age but had no real wear, door panels all still very nice, power locks still work(these are vacuum operated originals), amazing, all in all the interior is very presentable. Storage compartment in rear is clean, dual action tailgate and glass works properly. All blue factory tinted glass is present with minor flaws, small stone chip in windshield up in tint band, hard to find. Nice straight, solid body with minimal filler mostly by rear dog legs(common area) and very bottoms of 1/4s, even though it's all steel back there it must have had some pin holes. Paint still looks very nice but not perfect and is about 10 years old. Small bubbles starting to appear down there over the last few years but still a very nice looking car as pics will show. Underside looks perfect with no repairs anywhere and all original pans very solid with surface rust only. Both front and rear bumpers are very clean without damage but do show some age, bumper valances are perfect as is grill, headlight surrounds, etc. Car drives nice, straight and smooth, I would drive it anywhere. Very nice "Plain Jane" driver condition car, a big hit at the car shows, drive in's and anytime it gets driven. There are no warranties implied or written.
