For Sale a 1983 Honda Civic 1500DX in very good condition with 64,500 original miles. My Mom was the original owner of this car when she bought it from a local Honda Dealer in 1983. The car has been garaged it's whole life and has been driven very little in the last 15 years when she was unable to drive due to macular degeneration. I start the car about every two weeks and drive it around the neighborhood. There are only a few things that aren't working likes the Air-Conditioning System and the Parking Brake Light stays on all the time, but works fine. The car is cold blooded and requires it to be warmed up (5-10 minutes) if really cold before driving. This may require a carburetor rebuild or replacement. The muffler is also in need of replacement. The tires are old but seem to have good tread and are probably fine but would replace with new ones fairly soon. The Air-Conditioning compressor is making a little noise like the clutch bearing is starting to fail. The interior is in good shape with a few small tears in the drivers seat etc., but very good considering it's age, There are a few rust spots at the bottom of the hatchback window and a few dings and scratches here & there, but again very good for it's age. The VIN on my Ohio Title is wrong. Title says JHMSR53 car says JHMSR33. Ebay would not take "53" so this might explain why there is no VIN history. Ohio Title has VIN of JHMSR5327DS012894. This car is very drivable, I used it for a backup when my car needed repair, other than that it has sat in the garage. Needs an oil change. Very Collectible car and in great shape.
