LOW MILEAGE: Only 5,400 Miles! 2006 Honda ST1300 Up for sale is my Honda ST1300 motorcycle. I purchased it in April 2009 from a friend. It had 800 miles on it. I put about 4,500 miles on it in 4 summers of riding, or an average of around 1,100 miles a year. It has been gently driven by an adult. Reason for selling: I am 58 years old and I bought a Mercedes SLK Convertible. I have been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and do not plan on riding anymore in the future. It is a beautiful bike and I'm selling it "NO RESERVE". PRICING: I think a key point for any buyer is it has only 5,400 actual miles, which is very low for the year. Nada average retail is $8,450 for this bike, but does not take into account the low mileage. Data suggests an average mileage for a Sport Tourer like this is approximately 5,000 per year or 35,000 miles. I don't believe they have changed much on this bike over the years. A new 2012 suggested list is approximately $18,200, not including the accessories. You can get this one for less than 1/2 the price of a new one. I am meticulous and have always taken pride & care of the Motorcycles & Cars I've owned. The bike has always been kept in the garage. I changed the oil in April & October every year. The most it's ever had between oil changes is 1,300 miles. EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY and it does not need anything. The engine is probably just breaking in. I put a fresh battery in this spring. It has never been in an accident and never been down. The paint looks excellent. It may have a couple minor blemishes but very minor and you would have to look real, real, close to see them. If you see it parked, you would definitely think it's new. The bike is completely stock except for 3 things: The only thing I did not like on the bike was the stock windshield. I spent over $200 and bought the best one on the market. A California Scientific. It works fantastic and is a huge improvement. I also have the stock windshield which is included with the bike. In addition to the windshield it has 3 Knee pad Tank pad protectors and a 12 volt Electrical accessory socket in the right storage compartment. Excellent condition Gently driven by an over 55 Adult. Electric windshield Garage kept Cal-Scientific Windshield. Includes the Stock windshield 12 volt Electrical accessory socket in the right storage compartment.Original owners manual and Tool Kit 3 Knee Pad Tank Protectors Oil changed April & October every year.
