Description:Up for auction is my 1954 Dodge M37 Military Truck (Weapons Carrier). Rebuilt from rolling frame in 2002 to 2004. All parts original or replacements to be road worthy. Fresh paint on all parts during rebuild. New canvas top and seat. Electric wipers installed. Water pump, fan, and fan belts recently replaced. Custom painted camouflage exterior and interior. Runs strong and starts easy. Still has 24 volt electircal system. 60 amp generator. 230 flat head 6 cylinder engine with pressure ignition system and fuel system for waterproof driving in all weather or crossing rivers. 4 wheel drive works and stays locked in fine. ngine runs good, no smoke, good oil pressures and no noises. Second owner after vehicle was decommissioned from its military service. Military service records unknown. Truck was bought as a complete reassembly project that took 2 years. Since 2004 the truck has been driven and been a part of many car shows and cruises. Cruises 45mph without problem and will make long trips. Has won many trophies in its class and has always received compliments any where I drive it. Selling to fund the next project, this is a great truck to drive, go to shows, or use for display. Known Issues: Starter Bendix is weak, may need replacement later, currently works. Small dents left in rebuild from original military service.
