Vehicle Detail
Hello there fellow CB lovers. What we have here is probably the most awesome find ever.Restored bikes are very nice but they just can't capture the original beauty of a new bike and this one looks like new. This CB750K is the nicest one I have ever seen in my life. Everybody that looks at it says the only way it could be better is if it was still in the crate. This bike is totally original, right down to the levers and grips. And they are still soft.I got this bike from the original owner. It has 12,390 original miles on it and has been sitting in a controlled climate storage since 1984.And by the way the bike is titled a 73 because that is when it was first registered. The vin # is 20023080. All I had to do was clean the points, the timing was already set perfect, install new plugs, change the oil and clean the carbs on the bike( I didn't want to disturb any of those perfect hose clamps or intake rubbers)I put in a new battery fired it up and it runs great. No ticks,no rattles and no primary chain noise.Everything on the bike works great, like new. Even all the switches work like new.All the chrome is absolutely beautiful except for one small drawback, and I mean one. As you can see in the pic,#1 exhaust pipe at the joint between the header pipe and the muffler the chrome is starting to peel just a little bit(just barely). No leaks. No dents in the tank, no rips in the seat, absolutely beautiful. Has never been disassembled or taken apart as you see from the original factory yellow slip lines paint that they put on certain hardware. Even the original decals are beautiful. Note the original tool kit and owner's manual.Tires are in great shape. I mean seriouly, back in the day this is the way they were. A new CB750 the Vetter fairing and windshield, crash bars, and the sissy bar is just the way they were all decked out for the serious rider.Personally, I prefer them in stock configuration, looks wise. That would be very easy, all you would have to do is remove all the extra stuff and find a stock headlight bucket and everything else is already there, including the chrome headlight mounts. The tires are even great and not weather checked. Even the spokes and nipples look like new.I really don't know what else to say, it's just plain beautiful. If anyone wants a pic they don't see on my ad feel free to email me as I am only allowed 24 pics and that just is not enough. If you have any questions please feel free to call Dave at:541-935-3067 or email me. Iteam must be paid in full within 7 days of auction closing. Buyer is responsible for transportation and/or shipping or just ride it away. Thank you very much for looking and have a great day!
