For Sale is my 1978 Chevrtolet Camaro Type LT. It has a clear Texas title in my name. It is registered, state inspected and insured as well. Car is completely drivable. I drive it to work occasionally. Additionally, I have some of the original documents from when the car was purchased in 1977 from the dealer in Austin Texas. I am the 3rd owner. The original owner bought in 1977 and had it until 2009 when she passed away. The car was then titled by her son and then myself. This car will be sold "as is" to the highest bidder. WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS. I WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY PART OF THE SHIPPING. Additionally there is no warranty for this vehicle. High bidder will recieve the car, the keys, all documents to include receipts for parts that I purchased, and the title paperwork. Interior: Originally the interior was Camel Tan, but it was in HORRIBLE shape. I completely gutted the interior and started from scratch. Carpet and headliner are new, Most of the interior panels were either replaced completely or painted. The rear dash was replace with a new one, dome light was fixed and I replaced the missing dome light lens. The door panels are brand new as well as the Pro-Car racing seats. Console was painted, but had to replace the console lid and insert. Upper dashboard was covered with a hard plastic dash cover. The lower dash was replaced with original lower dash from a black interior Camaro. I got half of the guages in the dash to come back to life. However the Tachometer, Temp Guage, and ZClock do not work. I installed an aftermarket SUNPRO temerature guage at the opening in the console where it meets the lower dash. All the exterior lights and turn signals work. There is no washer fluid reservoir, but the wipers themselves work. Exterior: The body on the car is amazingly straight. No dents that I can find. I also went over the body with a magnet and didnt find any filler. I replaced the lower grill on the front with a brand new one and added the antenna. There is very littel rust under the car. There is a small chip in the paint about the size of a dime under the handle on the passenger side door. Engine: The car has a 305 Cubic inch V8. Additionally it has a quadrajet carb, and a 350 turbo tranny. The air conditioning system was non-existent when i got the car, and the heater fan doesn't work. The carb definitlety needs to be adjusted. It has been running rich since I got it. There is a small transmission fluid leak where the driveshaft meets the tranny, a small oil leak, and the car has a miss. It still runs and drives fine, but not at peak performance. I even roasted the tires the other day =) Additionally, the vehicle is listed locally, and I retain the right to cancel this auctin at any time if vehicle can be sold locally.
