. First off this is a nice 1970 Chevelle SS 396, that is 42 years old.It is not perfect,but a nice ole car.If your looking for a trailer queen/show car, this is not for you. To start off with, it is painted Forest Green, (not the original color) with White racing stripes over a new updated Parchment White vinyl interior (originally Green). Factory options include full numbers matching L34 396ci/350 horsepower Turbo-Jet V8 & M40 3-speed automatic transmission, Super Sport package equipment, F41 special performance suspension, JL2 vacuum power disc brakes, power steering, original 3.31 rear end (CCW), bucket seats with center console, headrests, roof rail & wheel house moldings, vinyl roof, special ducted cowl induction hood, all tinted glass, new drivers side mirror, cushion rim sport steering wheel, AM/FM radio, (retro new look alike) with windshield antenna with two 6X9 rear deck speaker, new mesh package tray, two kick panel speakers with built in fresh air vents, and original refurbashed 14” SS wheels, new chrome rings center caps, and matching 14" SS wheel, and new Firestone spare, and new jack and handle. Not to many numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS 396 left with full documentation. I have been told there are more clone 1970 Chevelle Super Sports than actual Super Sports. It will come with the original factory build sheet, warranty booklet with Protect-O-Plate, dealer sales order, and owner’s manual. It runs and drives out very well. I do not have any history of mechanical work done to the motor, transmission, or rear end. Motor is very quite running, with original matching exhaust maniflods, attached to new dual exhaust,mufflers, and correct tips. I am asuming it has the factory cam, by the idle. It runs beautiful down the road, transmission shifts so smooth, you can not feel it shift. The body & chassis are solid. Original trunk, and floor pans are very solid, with no signs of rust or patches.Both rear lower quarters, have been replaced. The paint is an older restoration, besides a few paint chips, and scratches,(mostly down low where the tires pickup debri) there are no signs of rust or rust bubbles.. The chrome & bright work has all been refinished and appear as-new throughout! The engine bay has been detailed to include correct hoses & tower style clamps, chrome valve covers, factory correct stickers, and inspection markings on the firewall including the original order number written directly behind the engine and paint code on the upper passenger side! Even the original dealer sticker remains on the rear bumper! With correct T3 headlamps, original set of GM keys, new aluminum exhaust, new gas tank, new u-joints, all new shocks, Firestone tires, new radiator, new alternator, complete front end bushing & ball joints, brake components & hoses.
