Vehicle Detail

Time to sell my 2001 Sunset Orange Metallic Firebird Trans Am, the color is amazing and looks even better in person. It has just under 89k miles and will go up slowly, not my daily driver but it looks to good to sit there and not get used. I'm the 2nd owner, original owner was around 65 years old and traveled a lot so the car just sat. Previous owner had just replaced the entire A/C system. The vehicle was bone stock when I bought it and I have added a few aftermarket stuff. The interior was suffering from the Arizona sun so all the leather seats were toast and needed to be replaced. I had a local shop redo all the seats in vinyl with suede inserts in the matching stock color. I was nervous about the vinyl too but it looks and feels outstanding. The vehicle is meant to be driven so it is, which means it isn't perfect. It has the typical F-Body flaws with the front dash being cracked and the also the door panels.I am not sure if the t-tops leak but I don't believe they do, I'm in Arizona and rain isn't much of an issue here. The sail panel has the bubbling from the glue, even though it has been repainted. The 2 rear speakers on the stock monsoon stereo do rattle. Both power windows work but the passenger side is starting to get a little slow.Air pump and passenger side cat was throwing a code so I had them tuned out, will still pass visual and plug in emission test but I can't guarantee a sniffer. Now to the up sides of the vehicle, besides the rare color.Runs and drives outstanding, the transmission shifts perfectly.Recently replaced the rear main seal, flex plate gasket, and trans mount (with OEM)Entire A/C system was replaced and works fantastic, in Az that is a mustRecently installed all new tint on the front windows and rear hatch (22% on the front and 6% on the rear)Had the car repainted to bring back the color.Reupholstered the seatsI've also added a few aftermarket parts.Black ZR1 wheels, 17x9.5 up front and 17x11 out back, will include the stock chrome wheels w/ tires (tires have plenty of tread left)Brand new Nitto nt555 tires, have less than 100 miles on them, 275/35's and 315/30'sFor the tires to work I installed a UMI on-car adjustable panhard bar and rolled the fenders. Tires do still rub on hard turns though.H&R lowering springsBorla adjustable catback, comes with the 3 adjustment plates.SLP lidTruFiber WS9 hoodI've tried to be as up front about the vehicle as a I can so there aren't any surprises, but you are more than welcome to come look at the vehicle to check it out.
