Vehicle Detail
Here you go collectors. A super rare 1987 Honda ATC 200X in mint condition. Not many 1987 's made it to the showroom floor. Many 1986 models never made it off. The 87's have the DISTINCT white plastic and KEYED IGNITION with new graphics.....87 ATC 250r's and 350x's are folklore....Here is a true 1987 ATC. Many people I have chatted with have no idea what a 1987 looks like ...many thought they had an "87" one but they really had 1986's with the red shrouds and no keyed ignition. This is a great machine for the collector .... Remember this 3 wheeler is 25 years old and looks better than many 1 year old ATV four wheelers I see out there....all bearings are tight and starts first kick...BUT YOU MUST TURN THE 87 KEY FIRST!!! You think ATC 250r's are rare...check how many are on ebay at any given time (lots of them). 1985/1986 ATC 350x 's dont have anything on the rarity of this machine!!!!How often do you see a 1987 3 wheeler let alone in this shape. Here are some numbers of production *****1985 ATC 250r's- 26,844,****** *****1986 ATC 250r's -13,093,***** *****1986 ATC 200X's- 18,000,***** *****1985/1986 350x's estimated in the 30,000 range and "THEIR COLLECTIBLE"***** *********1987 ATC 200x's 3,800!!!!! I HAVE THE TITLE, ORIGINAL 1987 HONDA 200X BROCHURE, OWNERS MANUAL AND SERVICE MANUAL FOR THE COLLECTORS OUT THERE! This is the cleanest 87 200X I have ever seen or owned, barley a scratch on the plastic, the tank was professionally refinished with Shasta white paint (original Honda color), all decals are either new or original from 1987. New Rear Ohtsu tires, Oem fork boots, OEM factory seat, OEM on/off switch. The foot pegs and skid plate have been powder coated to match the original factory black. You can own a completely mint restored Vintage Motorsports bike for $15K plus a bike or own this one for much less. I am also including the Hondaline cover. Please let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!
