I’m selling a 96 CBR F3, on a 1993 cbr f2 frame, with no title. This is kind of a long story….I’ve owned a 91’, 93’ and 94’ cbr 600 f2, I’ve always done my own work on the bikes etc. I had friend of a friend who had a frame with a clean title for sale, so I bought it with the idea that I could purchase a wrecked or theft recovery bike with a bad title and make a good bike for not a lot of money, that was 10 years ago. A few weeks after I bought the frame I got transferred from Chicago to DC. I boxed up the frame and dragged it to DC, I moved around a lot in DC and just kept moving the frame. About 4 years ago my wife said the frame had to go, I wasn’t doing anything with it etc…So I looked on ebay to sell it and I happened to find a salvage company in Philadelphia that had a 96 cbr f3 that was wrecked(cbr f2s and f3 have the same frame), the front forks and wheel were trashed, the frame was bent and no fairings, so I bought it a started building my bike. I bought a used front end of a 98 cbr f3, used front wheel and tire, gauges etc…I also bought a set a fairings for a 96 cbr f3. I got the bike backed to together minus mirrors, foot pegs and a gas cap. I then pretty much got busy with life and parked the bike. At the beginning of spring I decided to sell the bike because I was tired of it taking up space in my garage, I new someone who was interested in the bike a we agreed upon a price, but I cant find the title. So now I’m trying to sell this bike with no title. I will give you a bill of sale but I don’t have a title. The bike has a set of 96 cbr f3 fairings, they are in good not great shape. There are no cracks, but they do have a little road rash. The bike ran a few years ago, but the battery is dead, I’m not putting the effort in to trying to get it to start. As far as I know the only things the bike needs besides a little tlc and tuning, is a set of foot pegs and mirrors. I also have a box of misc. parts that I’ll throw in, nothing major, an extra tank with paint damage, an extra swing arm, some brake, and carb parts etc...I also have a set of Hardy bike stands and a mecury carb tuner. I’m not looking to make a killing on this bike, I definitely have more money in it than it is worth, I just want it out of my garage.
