Vehicle Detail
This original and unrestored 1970 Suzuki TS250 was purchased from Gundy Hardware in Muskegon Michigan on April 28, 1972 for $553.20. I have the original bill of sale/registration form and the original vehicle title from 1972. It has had just one owner over the last 40 years and has been in storage for the last 20. Judging from the condition that it is in, I'm sure it was in a climate controlled environment during storage. It currently has just 5,270 miles on the odometer. The tank is in very good shape with no dents. The inside of the tank is SPOTLESS and completely rust free. The bike starts easy and runs down the road just as it should. Shifts through all the gears well. Brakes are great front and back. The rear brake pedal is bent somewhat as seen in the photo. The rims are in excellent shape and I've got to guess that these are the original IRC Trial tires. The handlebars and footpegs are straight. All of the chrome is in great shape on the outside and is a bit grungy on the inner fenders. It looks like maybe the bike was flipped at some point because the rear fender is a little tweaked on the sides. I don't know if that can be seen in the pictures because it is hardly noticeable. The fork chrome is in excellent shape as well. The dust covers are not split or dry rotted. All of the original cables are in great shape. I think the bike still all of the original Suzuki "S" stamped bolt heads that it had from the factory. No rips in the seat but the foam is somewhat worn down. I have never come across a bike of this age in such remarkeable shape. The only current drawback to the bike is that the headlight doesn't work. It is cracked and looks like it was probably chipped by a stone or something while being ridden. The tail light did work when I took the bike for a ride but now I noticed that it doesn't. I doubt it's a big deal though and will tinker with it. If you have any questions about this bike please feel free to ask me before you bid. Email me or call/text 989-882-5585 I will not ship this bike but I will be available to help load it onto a shippers truck if need be. 0 feedback bidders must contact me before bidding on the bike or I will block you from the auction. $100 paypal deposit is required within 24 hours from the close of the auction. On Sep-22-12 at 08:53:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Good news! The brake light works again. A wire got disconnected when I latched the seat back down. It's good to go now
