Body: Absolutely no rust, absolutely no dents, dings or scratches!!! Glass in very good shape. One minor crack in bottom right windshield. Paint: hyper glossy Black paint. Paint looks excellent all around; Vehicle has been repainted once with Glasurit paint and clear coat and then wet sanded and polished. Most of the car was stripped when painted. Please check the pictures site regularly as I will be adding more pictures during the auction. Exterior: all moldings (chrome and plastic) in very good shape, bumpers and bumper moldings in very good shape ( lights and plastics in very good shape with no fading or cracking. Chrome: in very good shape inside and out. Looks like a mirror Wheels: Mercedes Benz 14” alloy wheels in excellent shape structurally and cosmetically. No curb damage. These are factory originals. Engine: Excellent, Always starts at the first turn, idles smooth, runs great and extremely powerful, doesn't burn or take any oil. Absolutely no leaks. This is a real roadster- absolutely fun to drive. I've driven around 90-100mph and it was smooth!! Very fun and comfortable car to drive. Automatic Transmission: Excellent, Shifts smooth and precise, Fluid is Crystal Clear. No noises or weird sounds!!. no leaks!! Recently serviced. Suspension and Steering: Excellent ride, feel solid and stable even at high speed on the freeway. Some links, rods and steering dumper were replaced recently. Sub-frame bushings all brand new. Alignment was performed when inspected. Brakes: Excellent condition, Almost new brake pads and rotors. Car stops straight with absolutely no vibrations or noises. Instruments and Warning lights: All in perfect working condition. All external lights, turn signals, hazard lights, high beams, instrument cluster lights in perfect working condition. Clock is working. Speedometer and odometer are working. Climate Control: Air conditioning blows COLD and heater works fine. Climate control box under the hood is the aluminum type, very hard to find and extremely expensive. This year had faulty AC units and was replaced and works very well. Interior: Original MB tex seats in excellent shape, Mercedes Benz velour carpet in excellent shape, Headliner in excellent shape, dashboard in excellent shape, center console in excellent shape with no cracks or scratches, door panels in very good shape. Chrome accents in excellent condition. Interior looks like new. This is a non-smoker vehicle! Looks like a new car. Tires: Brand new tires in four corners. Spare tire with 90% thread left. Tops: Hard top in excellent condition with glossy paint (chrome moldings in very good shape). Soft top is new (premium canvas type), tan color, clear plastic rear window is in excellent shape. Original top removal tool set is included. The hardtop carrier is included!! Headliners: both in excellent shape (soft and hard tops). Power features: All power equipment in perfect working condition: power windows, power locks, power steering.Sound System: Original German Becker radio sounds great, automatic antenna in perfect working condition. Antenna goes up and down with power on/off of radio & car. Miscellaneous: Jack and wrench included. Trunk space is very large for a convertible. It has been kept immaculately clean. Inspection: The car was inspected by a certified mechanic and his statement was as follows: that it was an extremely well maintained car, no leaks of any kind. All vacuum lines in perfect shape, almost new distributor cap and wires, new spark plugs, almost new brakes pads and rotors, undercarriage with no rust, no signs of accidents or any repair done, shocks in excellent condition. Subframe bushings are brand new (very expensive to replace). Compression test has been performed with a reading of 118 to 121 psi on all cylinders, Mercedes Benz considers normal for a healthy engine (21 psi is the permissible difference between individual cylinders). Timing chain and tensioner recently replaced. Belts and hoses are almost new, antifreeze within specifications. Oil and filter change was performed when inspected. Wheel alignment performed when inspected. The smog test was preformed in June 2012 and passed easily. Defects: some are hardly noticeable but I point them anyway. 1 small ding in front bumper caused by the front license plate screws. There is a repair done at the bottom INTERIOR of the driver’s side door panel- it took me 15 days to even see it.. it's a tan strip of leather that matches door- i assume to cover up a tear or scratch. The right rear fender near the back wheel well is sticking out a little bit father than it should. small crack in windshield. I will provide pictures to serious inquiries.
