I am proud to present for auction this extra-nice, extra-clean 1997 Lincoln Town Car Executive. This rear wheel drive, V8 powered Lincoln is in excellent condition inside and out, and it runs and drives fantastic. This Lincoln has been owned by one family throughout its life. It was originally used for funeral home service, and then "retired" to Boca Raton, Florida where it has only been driven about 2 month per year for the last few years. It has been regularly serviced, it has new tires, and and had a BRAND NEW transmission installed last year that is still covered under warranty. The paint shines like new all around, and there are no notable dents or dings on the body. The Autocheck report is clean, showing no accident history or any other problems. There is a small blemish on the hood, typical of this era town car. It looks like a small area of bubbles at the back edge of the hood, by the windshield on the passenger. It is NOT rust (the hood is aluminum). Looks great all around. Exterior features include lacey-spoke alloy wheels The interior is also in excellent condition. The seats have no rips, tears, or holes. The dash, carpets and door panels are also in very good shape. The driver's seat has power controls. The rear seat is also in fine shape. Rear seat passengers have plenty of leg room. This Lincoln is loaded with comfort and convenience features: Power windows, locks and mirrors; Remote entry, Keypad entry; Cruise control; tilt wheel, trip computer / driver info center; Auto air conditioning; Rear defrost, and much, much more. Safety Features include dual front air bags and ABS. The 4.6 liter V8 provides plenty of smooth, responsive power. Its factory rated at 210 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. As we mentioned, this car has new transmission as of 02/2011. It is still covered under warranty by AAMCO until 02/2014. There is an AM/FM/Cassette stereo and a digital clock. There's no sign that this Town Car was ever smoked in - no smoke odor, no burn marks, and the lighter looks like it has never been used. The trunk is clean and very large. This Town Car comes with the optional full-sized spare tire with a matching alloy wheel. The tires are just about brand new. This Town Car currently has 46,057 original miles on it. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. I do not accept credit cards. If you are the winner, a 10% deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. Shipping As far as shipping, there are some qualified transporters who can ship anywhere in the United States. Shipping arrangements should be made between the winning bidder and the transporter. Depending on your destination from vehicle location, delivery costs and estimated times of delivery can vary from shipper to shipper. It's best to get at least a couple of different quotes.
