I took this truck in on trade last week from a nice couple that has a big family with lots of children. He is a commercial electricican and he bought the nicest truck that the Ford dealership had in stock when he bought it new in June of 2009. He and his wife really enjoyed it but now they need more seating for their family size. They traded it for a big SUV and reluctantly parted ways with this gorgeous dually 4x4 powerstroke Lariat truck. He gave me the original window sticker, and the owners manual,2 keys and fobs,fifth wheel, and I have it all. The next owner will get all these things to keep as part of their documentation on this fine ONE OWNER truck. You rarely get an opportunity to buy a one owner truck that was optioned like this,and especially when it is in the condition this one is in, bid now or miss out 4ever! We have had the truck state safety inspected and it needed only a light bulb replaced to pass.It is nice! It is exempt from emissions testing as all diesels are. The truck is very nice but it does have some light scuffs,scratches, etc. that you would call normal for any vehicle that has been driven for 40k. There is tread left on the rear tires,and the front tires are like new. If I were replacing the rears I would match the fronts since they are a nice aggressive tread and nearly new. There are some scuffs on the wheels, center caps and some normal blemishes on them from changing tires etc. Then you could rotate them if you desired to. The interior is in very nice condition, nearly new in every respect. There are no burns,tears, or smells present. The previous owners were non-smokers and it smells fresh inside. There are absolutely no tears,holes,burns,or gouges in any of the seats,door panels,headliner, or dash areas. This interior is like showroom new in its appearance. I talked to the Ford dealer that sold it new and he ordered this truck specially equipped like this for his trailer pulling customers. The F450 is really a lot more HEAVY DUTY than even the F350 Ford builds. He ordered this truck and showcased it at horse shows, RV shows and at a special display area at his Ford store. It is built with a special bed from a company named Fontaine. They build a line of heavy duty truck beds. This particular bed is designed to look very similar to a Ford factory bed with a few improvements to it. It is 8'3" long inside the bed floor. It is 50" wide between the wheel wells. Most importantly it is 14" tall on the sides and rear to give you some extra clearance when towing either a 5th wheel trailer or a gooseneck trailer. It looks very sharp on the truck and is functional too! The mounting for the 5th wheel,the gooseneck,and the 5th wheel itself are all very heavy duty,very sturdy items! You will be set up to tow whatever you have right now! The truck starts right up,runs great and is a real power house with the diesel,torqueshift and 4.88 gears. It will be at home pulling whatever you ask it to move. You are encouraged to come see it and drive it for yourself prior to bidding if you desire. We are open 5 days a week and will accomodate your schedule to arrange an after hours meeting if you need us too. We are very proud of the truck and it needs no apologies for anything. The only small area we are making a repair to is on the rear fiberglass tail panel around the receiver hitch. The fiberglass there has a small crack, but it will be repaired before auction is complete. It is probably a $150 repair,and the truck is too nice not to fix it.
