Vehicle Detail
I have a 1971 Nova, pretty much un-messed with car that is begging for a restoration....I am the 3rd owner...its only had 1 repaint in 1988...Its got the number matching 250 , powerglide automatic....10 bolt w a 3:73 gear ratio...Its got a nice set of SS wheels w brand new tires and a brand new dual exuast system....its also got a brand new gas tank and sending unit...on it aswell.....Mechanically this car runs and drives great, all lights work, heater works....etc...the only thing it needs that i know of is the brakes pull ot the Left...i think the rubber brake line has a kink in it...its like a 20.00 fix.... The body is nice...stright...unmessed with...the doors click shut, no rust in doors, trunk is solid, frame rails are solid, floor pans are good...rockers are good, quarters have some bubbling coming in but not terrible..it looks like they put some mud in them when it was repainted in the 80s but its still presentable...the fenders look good down low which is rare for these old novas but the driver side does have a small place about the size of a majic marker...but it dosnt photo well...solid under the back glass which is another bad spot on these old novas...The interior is pretty much untouched also..has the factory rubber mat.....dome light still works..again just a great car that would make a great restoration project... i bought it for that reason as you can see by the pics....i just got too much going on right now...if it dosnt sale...i am going to big block it....for what i am wanting out of this car...you could build a whale of a car...and still not break the bank...but if you didnt want to restore it...it dont look bad to just cruise like it is and get gas millage.....
