For example: check engine light on (OBDII codes), VANOS issues, solenoids issues, carbon buildup issues, broken sunshades, non working rear parking sensors, slipping clutch, odd noises, torn leather or anything else I might have forgotten? For starters, i'm a BMW enthusiast... i've had the luxury to own a 1980 320is, 1982 323is, 318is, 735is, M3 and lastly an M5. this was my feel good car.... only driven for joy ride... and treated with utmost care. No check engine light on. Rarely driven within the last 3-4yrs. Mostly in the summer and occasionally quick warm-up in the winter. I've only driven about 3 times this year. More or less, dealing with my house completion. If you're within Mass(Framingham/Natick region), you can stop by and check out the car or find an inspector to check out the car. As for brake pads replacement and the likes.. No... plenty of mile left on them. i have a full history on the work done on my car. However, for the going price, you can look around for the likes... and i guaranty no other deals come close, not even with miles. With that said, it's a 2000 car!!! you're GONNA have problems sooner or later as i've dealt with owning this "beautiful beast"... and that's with any car that is that old.
