Vehicle Detail
1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible RARE original Bucket seat car, One of 99 produced VIN: 59E044586 This Car is the real thing. It has been in storage since 1975. It runs, drives and stops. Only approximately 1200 Eldorado Biarritz Convertibles were produced in 1959 and only 99 had the rare bucket seat option. The original colors are Persian Sand with a white/gray interior and white top. It has factory Air ride suspension that is mostly complete except for the air bags that have been replaced with Shocks. The air ride pump, lines and air tank are present. This car has a power trunk release, PS,PW and power brakes all work. This is a non-AC car. This is a very solid car. There is not very much rust. There is some rust on the bottom of each side of the outside sheet metal. Very small holes in front fenders, The floors and frame are very solid. All the power windows work, the top motor is weak but the top will go up and down with some help. The top material is mostly all gone. The original 390ci engine with tri-Power carbs / air cleaner and auto trans have never been taken out of the car. The car hadn’t run in 30 years until I had a few things done. The oil was changed, new plugs, new trans fluid, brakes gone through, new air filter element, etc. The motor smokes a bit but it smokes less and less every time we run it. It may have a stuck ring that will eventually fix it self. The interior was recovered in a non original color back in the 70s. The dash was painted to match. The dash pad is in excellent condition. 91k miles show on the odometer. The parade boot is still in original paint and in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This is a rare opportunity to buy an original unrestored 59 Biarritz bucket seat car. I would be surprised if a car like this has been for sale on the open market in many years. This car is complete and needs a full restoration, it is not missing any high dollar parts. Inspections are welcome at any time during this listing. Email me for my phone number if you would like to speak with me. I may possibly be open to interesting trades. I like 70-71 Cudas and Challengers. I have 100% positive feedback. You will not be disappointed. This car is as represented.
