Up for auction is a 1966 Pontiac GTO that is a PHS documented 389 tri power with 4 speed. I am listing this for a friend of mine and he is open to all offers. He also has the clear Virginia title in hand. This is a nice driver condition car. It now has a non matching drivetrain that includes a 69 Pontiac 350 4 barrel with 4 speed muncie trans with Hurst shifter and single track rearend with power drum brakes and power steering. It looks black but is actually very dark midnight blue. It has driver quality paint with a few small dents and the paint is chipping here and there. It runs and drives great and looks great going down the road. The brake system just got an overhaul including all new lines,hoses,master cylinder,shoes and wheel cylinders. The front suspension has been gone through at some point in its life. The black interior looks nice with new front and rear seat covers,headliner,sunvisors and fairly new carpet. The car has had a metal drivers front floor pan welded in. The trunk had some patch repair years ago with fiberglass and the outer wheelhouses have been patched with metal plates. The frame is still very solid. A couple of things I know that do not work is the oil pressure gauge pegs as soon as the key is turned on,the speedo does not work and the back up lights do not work. This is a good car to cruise around in that just needs a little tlc.
