Vehicle Detail

I will be including an honest, reputable, antique car appraisal. The man has been in the business over 25 years. He knows and follows antique car prices. This car that I am listing will have an appraisal of between $11,000.00 and $11,500. Final report is not complete yet. And that is rating my car as average. If this was a like new car, the value would be over $20,000.00. This is a chance to get a sought after collector car for an affordable price. Good running, good looking 1963 Ford Falcon convertible. Not a museum piece, or tire burning muscle car. But the 6 cylinder matched up with the stock 4 speed will get you going quick enough without having to stop for gas every other station. It is in ready to ride condition. It does have a slight pull to the left when braking. This may be due to brakes needing adjusting. I doubt its anything serious. Overall condition is at least pretty good. Underneath seems pretty solid to me, especially in the rear shackle area. Front shock towers are equally solid. Top works fine and looks good. Interior is presentable to pretty good condition. Motor is clean and quiet. Definitely not an oil burner or leaker. Stock 4 speed is pretty slick shifting. There are small blemishes here and there, on the body and interior, but all in all, still makes a pretty sharp everyday runner. Windows all go up and down, however, some do so a little difficult and need guidance. Emergency brake does not work. Handle is there, I assume it needs a cable. On Sep-14-12 at 16:43:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Appraisal came in today, right around where we were expecting it to. This appraisal was not done for insurance purposes, which typically runs higher in value. This was done for retail, fair - market value purposes, which is a closer appraisal to a car's worth. The last time this car was titled, 1997, mileage stated was 51,000. I don't know if that was original or not, but I do know that only 3 or 4 thousand miles has been added since then. Appaiser felt the car looked like that could be original.
