Vehicle Detail

1934 Ford V8 Pickup Truck Hot Rod or Stock All Henry Ford steel 1934 Ford pickup truck. Small splash pan under grill shell is fiberglass. This Ford V8 pickup was sold new in California, and then was subsequently used in government service during the 1940’s in the Alaska Territory. Motor and trans are not present. Remainder of drive train intact. 1940 Ford hydraulic brakes were installed in the late 1940’s. Frame and suspension looks good, shows surface corrosion, but structurally sound. All cross-members, supports, and brackets are solid. Cab appears to be good overall, with the usual minor dings and scuffs. Floors and subrails are good. Bottom edge of cab corners and lower cowl edge at the belt molding show rust through. As does the very bottom of doors at the molding. Passenger door has plastic filler in a couple of areas. Otherwise doors are solid, windows roll up and down. Windshield ventilates out, windshield glass, as well as driver’s door glass is cracked. Cab seat frame and brackets very good. No seat cushions present. Floor board, toe board, trans cover, pedal and column cover good. All cab wood also very good. Dash and instruments original. Working condition of gauges unknown. Steering wheel (shows cracks and separation), steering column, and steering box, all good. Window garnish moldings present. Grill is overall decent shape, lower edge has rust through. Hood also has rust through at the lower molding and hinge area. Remainder is good (extra ’34 p.u. parts hood included). Fenders are pretty straight, with no broken beads, tears, cracks, or repairs. However, they do have a few dings and some rust through in a few spots where they join the running boards. Original pickup bed is in really excellent shape, no rust through anywhere. Floor, sides, stake pockets, all very nice. Tailgate shows the most dings. Firewall is solid. Original V8 flathead radiator intact and in good shape. Correct headlight bar and headlights with late 40’s sealed beam conversions. Stock horn (missing rear cover). Wire wheels very nice condition. New heavy duty bias ply tires. Clear, matching to frame number Alaska State title. Very low reserve. Photos of hot rod pickups are for inspiration. Any questions – (702)258-6449. Thank You Sincerely! Terms: 1.
