Relisting Non Paying Bidder, I knew I was in trouble when he asked me if he could drive the car back to Michigan ?? obviously he has trouble reading descriptions and terms Serious bidders only if you have low or zero (0) feedback you must call or your bid will be cancelled 1958 Thunderbird Convertible,1 of only 2134 built,,all original,,Florida Barn Find,prior to my purchase the car was in storage since 1981,original 352 engine,Auto,PS PB PW Power Driver Seat,Factory Tinted Glass and Fender Skirts,Have the original build sheet to confirm the options ,Paint Code E Trim Code XM,Build Date 09 10 Body & Paint are original no bondo or replaced panels,floors and trunk are solid no rust holes,inner and outer rockers are excellent except for the rust on both doglegs which is shown in the pictures,spare tire well has some rust and a hole at the bottom which is common ,1 dent high on the passenger door,convertible package tray is excellent on a scale of 1-10 probably a 9,,Paint has surface rust as you can see in the photos appears it was under a tarp while in storage,has some rust and a couple small holes in the water channel from the decklid being closed for all those years,,,it will need a new convertible top,top mechanism is complete and working all the glass is nice with most carrying the original Fomoco markings,,power seat & drivers window works,the other windows will probably need the console switches cleaned or replaced Original 352 starts right up and sounds strong,correct original carburetor which has been rebuilt,new water pump,oil pan was removed and cleaned and new oil pump installed,,valve covers were removed and very little sludge on the rockers, appears oil was drained on a regular basis,I ,,gas tank will need to be replaced currently running on a gas can,brakes will need to be gone over and items replaced as needed wheels cylinders master cylinder etc,,exhaust system is complete Interior is original and unmolested,appears the seats have been redone and the foam is in good condition Car is being sold as is where is no warranty,buyer is responsible for pickup and shipment,can help with loading,$1000 deposit is due 48 hours after auction ends balance in full due 5 days later cash,wire transfer etc. Again,,Serious bidders only,buyers with zero or limited feedback must contact me prior to bidding,clear Florida Title,,,check out my Feedback,, contact me with questions 215 357 6462 or 215 932 2017
