1961 Merdeces Benz 190b Sedan Offered here for your inspection and consideration is this Round Body Mercedes Sedan. This rust free, solid, Mercedes has had only 3 previous owners and has been an Arizona car from new. I have documentation dating back to 1966. This is an unbelievably solid, original Benz relic. The door close like a vault. The undercarriage is dry and rust free with no signs of rust repair or previous damage, anywhere. The body is solid and straight with the exception of small dent in the right rear corner and some small parking lot dings. The body is very straight with great panel fit and closing gaps. the paint is most original in DB 158 (white grey). The bright work is all intact and in very good condition. Interior is original with Red leather seats with red vinyl trim. Although a victim of time and weather, the original rubber floor covering is still in place, but unusable. All the glass in the car is clear and the window lift mechanisms funtion as they should. The headlining is also intact and original. The engine is original and the numbers match the VIN tag. The engine starts and runs. I haven't driven the car yet but the transmission shifts statically and is full of gear oil. The brake hydraulic system is pressurized now, with no leaks, but I'm certain, after this long, the brake system should be totally restored. The wheels and wheel covers are all original to the car as are the special items like the outside mirror, badges, side turn signal markers, lenses, etc. In the trunk area are the original jack and spare. , , , , , , , , , , , The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance. Buyer to forward 10% of the total sales price within 3 days of auction close and the balance, in certified funds, within 10 days of close of auction. Cashiers' Checks must clear my bank before this vehicle can be moved. The car may remain in its present secure storage facility for an additional 30 days while the buyer makes travel and shipping arrangements. This is private party sale. There is no Arizona State Sales Tax. There are no additional charges or ducument fees. PayPal is only applicable for the deposit on this sale.
