2000 BMW 540i Car is located in the state or Jacksonville Florida 4.4 liter V8 engine, automatic transmission, rear wheel drive. good body, No Body Rust. Leather seats, clean carpeting, CD stereo, Air Conditioning, Heater works, Alloy wheels w/ good tires, Engine runs, but needs service. Transmission shifts perfectly, brakes feel great, smooth driving car. a few minor scratches, decent paint, (hood fading slightly), Key & trunk switch not opening Trunk (trunk lock needs replacement, you get get through the back seat) windshield has a couple tiny rock chips. engine light keeps returning code P0011. I've changed both of the Cam sensors, may be from hydraulic cam chain or tentioner needing attention or replacement. I hear valve chain or Vanos gear rattle at idle as normal on most 4.4 engines. a few oil drips on ground. don't know from where. Been driving for 2 months, just started running hot after driving. Mechanic says bad cooling system (water pump or crack in radiator). very powerful 4.4 Liter motor.. Most service info is available on You tube. Sold AS-IS, Runs & Drives, but will need service to Cam chain & Cooling system before driving any distance. Good economy car averages 24-28 mpg.
