Vehicle Detail

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass. 76,000 miles. This is an original nice running driving Olds convertible. Yellow with white interior. Bucket seats, console, floor shift automatic. J26H2M VIN. Clear title. Nearly rust free, a few small areas that will need repair. Just before I found this car I had already bought a 68 GTO 4 speed convt. Now I have two, only have room to keep one. I like the Olds, I've been trying to sell the GTO to get my money back and not having much luck so I'm offering the Olds. It's about 1/2 the price of the GTO, a lot less money. I would be happy to keep either car so which ever one sells first I'll be keeping the other. Olds has disc brakes as well as the GTO. Olds not a perfect car but a pretty good fun car to start with. Drive and enjoy while you're doing the restoration work. The wheels and tires are off the Pontiac GTO convertible, look good on the Olds I think. Whichever car I keep I'll be using those wheels and tires on it. You will get with the Olds the original Oldsmobile Rally wheels with tires that hold air. Top frame is good, fabric mostly there. My plan is to put a new top on it soon. Power top, goes up and down just like it should. Possible delivery, inquire. Steve 801-8-999-GTO (486). $500 non refundable deposit required by cash, paypal, bank wire transfer or Postal Money Order within 48 hours of auction close. Final payment by cash in person or bank wire transfer only. All the glass is good, no cracks in windshield. Just had it replaced with a new one. If I was to deliver the car would be on a trailer. When I found this car it appears as though someone had been restoring it. The engine seems as though it may have been rebuilt, real clean underneath with new freeze plugs. It runs, shifts and drives real solid. The suspension is not new although I did replace upper A frame bushings and ball joints. Like I said it drives quite well.On Sep-02-12 at 02:43:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I messed up the VIN in the description somehow, it's J67H2M, not J26H2M. I did get it right when I was filling out the information as I was listing it. 67 is for convertible. On Sep-02-12 at 02:55:16 PDT, seller added the following information: The pictures with the top up and with the car on the trailer is what it looked like when I first found it. It had been in a garage for years but then sat outside a few months before I bought it. It had the original yellow Oldsmobile Rally wheels on it then. I went over the car with some TR3 glaze remover but didn't wax it. I got to thinking maybe I would respray parts of it before long. The radio is missing, someone had hacked up the dash somewhat to put some sort of stereo in it.On Sep-02-12 at 03:02:49 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has AC, the compressor and all the mounting hardware is there. The belt is off, I think the compressor needs at the very least new clutches. The car also has power steering and brakes. Drives real nice. I don't know if anything was done to the transmission but it shifts real good. It's a 3 speed, probably a turbo 350.
