NO RESERVE!! 1972 Toyota FJ40. Ford 302 engine and transmission (very common in Australia) with Toyota transfer case. Transmission was professionally tweaked within the last six months. Solid body with a strong engine. It has new carburetor, covers, gaskets and exhaust. Durabak interior and exterior. Full custom roll cage. Hard doors. Tire carrier. Wiring was just professionally installed. New LED brake lights. Custom dash in place. Have FJ dash that can be installed. The previous owner used mainly for hunting/rock crawling. It was supposed to be a project car for me, but I just haven't found the time. Therefore, it has has never been registered and has no tags. It also has no title, as the previous two owners did not have one. The ad lists it as a "rebuilt..." title because eBay will not allow that tab to be left blank. The purchaser will be responsible for obtaining a new title. Current needs:The idle needs adjusting. The 4-wheel shifter needs to be hooked up.The seatbelts need to be installed, so will have to be trailered when purchased. This rig has a strong engine, and with a bit of work, it would be a great rock crawler or weekend vehicle. A bit more could get it to daily driver status. Serious bidders only, please.
