This is a 1983 Datsun 280ZX. This car is a ONE owner car since new. The owner purchased the car brand new in 1983 and then gave it to his son twenty years later and he has owned the car since then (2003). The car was very well taken care of and has never been in any accidents and I have a carfax to back this up. The car was never driven in rain or snow. The paint is in great condition. The car looks like it was repainted sometime recently. The job looks very good and it was done professionally, top-notch work. The exterior of the car is in very nice condition, especially for a 30 year old car. There is no dents or scratches on it that I could see. You can see your refelection in the paint. There is a small bubble on the tip of the hood (about the size of a dime) and another small bubble by the left quarter panel wheel (also very small), you can see these in the pics. These are the only flaws with the body and they are very minor. I have a clean carfax on hand and it shows the car has never been in accidents and it also shows that the car has spent its whole life in Massachusetts. The car has very low miles. The car just turned 89,000 miles, which is nothing for a 30 year old car. The car was only driven on the weekend and to local cars shows and cruise nights. Its a true 80's classic sport car. This is not a showroom 100point car by any means, but it is a clean honest survivor. The interior of the car is also very nice and shows very well for its age. The carpets and door panels are all in perfect condition as well as the hatch area. The seats show a little wear but nothing major. They look very nice for the age. All the rubber and weather stripping is very nice and looks as if it is new. All the gauges and electrical equipment work perfectly. The clock and lap time counter work perfectly. The check system LED indicator on the dash works perfectly as well. The AC blows ice cold!!!! I just had the whole AC system serviced. and the heater works perfectly as well. Every light, every gauge, every switch works the way it should. Even the door lock cylinders illuminate at night so you can see wear to put the key in the door. The light under the hood lights up as well. It functions like it did back in 1983. The motor and transmission are 100%. The car runs and drives the way it should. The car is all original inside. The only thing updated was the stereo. The car has a brand new face-off pioneer premium cd player and brand new pioneer premium speakers in the car(sounds great!). The power antenna also functions flawlessly. The car also has the original Datsun tire inflater and tool kit and its still un-opened. The spare tire and jack have also never been used and they are in their original condition. I also have the original t-top bags as well. The car has all the power options. It has dual power mirrors, power windows, cruise control, power rear wiper, cd player, AC, rear defroster, tilt steering wheel, and much more. The car has brand new performance tires and brand new datsun Z center caps on the rims, brand new die hard battery, oil was just changed, new ignition, new clutch, and the outside was just detailed. The car is ready for its next owner. This car is a hard to find survivor. Not many of these cars are left, especially in good shape like this one.
