YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS EXACT CAR ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Regretfully I am selling my 2002 BMW 330i sport sedan. My wife and I just finished moving into our new house and are expecting our second child in September, I am simply selling to free up extra cash for the family. I bought the car back in February and have only put 2,000 miles on it because it has not been my daily driver. I have other vehicles and this one was the weekend toy and date night car for the wife and me. This rare color combo and wheels along with the sport package and ultra low miles is not something you will stumble upon very often. I am an avid BMW enthusiast who wanted to find this exact color combo, wheels, and motor with the lowest miles I could get on a 330i. After 3 months of relentless searching through hundreds and I do mean HUNDREDS of 3 series cars nationwide I found this gem in Virginia. After several conversations with the owner of the dealership, I knew I could buy this car with confidence. The car came from a family owned certified BMW dealer where the family not only sells BMW's but works on and campaign races them on a ProAm circuit as well. The car has a clean CarFAx sheet with no accidents and I am only the third owner of the vehicle. The dealer had replaced the water pump during routine maintinence before I bought the car and I also replaced the oil pan gasket that was leaking small drops here and there after I got it home. If you are an avid Bimmer enthusiast like myself and have done your homework, then you'll know that pan gasket leakes are very common on all E46 gen. 3 series car's between 80k to 100k miles. It's just a little rubber gasket, it's not a major deal or costly repair. The replacment parts were genuine BMW parts that were professionally installed by a master technician who's been in business in my local area since 1973. Other than these reported fixes the car is in need of no repairs at all! I am currently running Castrol premium synthetic oil in the motor as this is what BMW recommends. I have also flushed and refilled the power steering pump and transmission with fresh fluid for my own satisfaction because I am very meticulous about maintenance on my vehicles. The car has brand new rear brakes (Akebono premium ceramic pads with Beck/Arnley rust resistant high performance disks) and the front brakes still have about 75% life left. I just put a brand new $130 battery in the car and the car has 4 like new Hankook high performance tires on the ground. This BMW comes in beautiful Topaz blue metallic with Mediterranean sand leather interior, along with heated seats, power sunroof, wood grain accents, Harmon/Kardon 8 speaker sound system, and steering wheel mounted stereo and cruise control buttons. The sport package features a lowered M sport tuned suspension, M sport aerodynamic package with unique front facia and fog lights, staggered 17in M sport alloy wheels, more supportive M sport bucket seats, smaller diameter 3 spoke M sport steering wheel, and MagnaFlow performance exhaust that I had professionally installed and added to the car. It produces a throaty growl that is slightly louder than factory volume, it's not obnoxious it just adds to the sporty appeal of the car. The E46 generation 3 series ran from 1999 to 2005 and was the most successful selling 3 series platform in BMW's history. During these years the 330i was BMW's top of the line 3 series model and it's performance stood second only to the legendary M3. The 330i has a 3.0L inline 6 cylinder making 225 horsepower and 215 lbs. per ft. of torque. These cars are famous for producing the most natural steering feel and precise handling of any luxury/sport brand on the market and they do so very well. This car accelerates quick off of the line, handles like a dream, and is as stable and smooth on the Autobahn at 100mph as it is on a U.S. interstate at 70.
