We were told by the owner that it is an L6. Others say it is CSI. Don’t know. Please feel free to run the vehicle number or what has to be done to check the model. It has a V6 engine that runs good. No smoking. It has a small manifold leak so the exhaust is a little loud. It has 189,175 miles showing on the odometer, but it doesn’t roll. The transmission is automatic with overdrive. There is an issue with the reverse. Sometimes it engages and other times it doesn’t. Someone said that it needs a modular or sensor of some kind. The brakes seem to need bleeding or something. And the brake light is on. It drives pretty well. Even with its faults it is a nice car to drive. It has great pick up and handling when you get it on the highway. It is definitely worth fixing up again to its original BMW powerful sports coupe. This is a timeless performance machine. The older gentleman who owned it, drove it all over like it is—even to Texas. The body is in good condition. There is no body damage. Very little rust. Average dinks. It was painted a couple of years ago. It is dull so it must need buffing and polishing or something. The rims are very nice. The tires still have some use. We couldn’t find the button for the fog lights so we didn’t see if they work. All of the other lights work. It is pretty nice inside. It has creamy leather interior that is in pretty good shape. The driver’s seat has wear, as does the front passenger seat. The dash has some cracking and the steering wheel cover is peeling.. The rear seating is very nice. The rear center console and above the seat compartments are in great shape. The carpets have something spilled and some general dirt/stains but overall the carpeting is in very nice shape. All of the power windows work. The moonroof works. The multi function power seats work. The A/C doesn’t blow. There is no radio. To me, it is in the expected condition for its year! It needs some work. We are showing the COUPE as it is. The exterior & interior are in decent shape all around.
