WHY AM I SELLING IT?Whenever I am buying a car I want to know why it's getting sold so I'll tell you: I am selling my dream car because I am starting a family in a few months! Sad to sell the car, but happy to be starting a new chapter. TELL ME ABOUT THE CARPeople's heads turn when my car comes down the block! Not only because its a 911 convertible in gorgeous lapis blue but it's got the Fister Motorsports exhaust which is without a doubt the most awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust for the 911. If for some reason you want the factory exhaust back, no problem, you can contact Fister Motorsports for an exchange (I think it is a couple of hundred bucks). Even when the car is stationary, I often find people gathered around it when I park somewhere and come out. It's that kind of car. And the car is unbelievably fun to drive; you and your passenger will be smiling after a short drive. The acceleration is good but the handling is just unbelievable. You feel amazingly connected to the road. WHAT CONDITION IS IT IN?This car has been loved and cared for. I have all my maintenance records and some before me. Recent services include: replacement of the air oil separator gasket, replacement of the water pump, replacement of the intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing (with the LN Engineering upgraded bearing), replacement of the hydraulic system for the convertible top, replacement of the sun visors, replacement of the center console glove box hinge, replaced front and rear hood and trunk struts, etc. I tried to take care of everything that was an issue either cosmetically or mechanically. Prior to buying the car from a surgeon I had a 125 point inspection done at Orlando Porsche. They pointed out a few minor things like the glove box, front hood struts and sun visors (all which I subsequently replaced). They said it was a really clean Porsche. The only thing I didn't fix (and have never used) is the headlight washer jet assemblies. For some reason they don't squirt water on the headlights but I never bothered to get that fixed. There are absolutely no oil leaks. The car starts every time, right away. There are no water leaks from the top. The tires still have tread on them and just passed the state inspection. I'd say they have 5-8k left on them. The car doesn't squeak or vibrate. There is one weird rattling sound that happens say 1 out of 10 times when the car is still cold at about 30 mph. In only lasts a few seconds. I was told by the Porsche dealership that this is completely normal and due to the adaptation algorithm in the transmission getting in a weird state. Not a big deal but I want you to know everything about this car before buying it. The cars paint is rich and lovely. I took pictures of all the significant scratches on the car. As you can see from the photos its pretty flawless but if you go up close there are a few scratches. The three biggest cosmetic issues are the hairline cracks in the front of the nose (see photo), a couple of scratches underneath the front spoiler (see photo) and a scratch near the driver's side back panel (see photo). I don't know if other sellers would even mention these things but I wanted you to know what you are bidding on exactly. There are also some scuff marks and scratches at various locations on all the rims (see photos). WHAT OTHER THINGS SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT THE CAR?I didn't have a place to mention this in the default ebay template but I have an iPhone hookup for the stereo system. I didn't want to disturb the stock Porsche radio so I had a short cable connected to the back of the AUX input so you can charge and play your iPhone (or iPod) through the factory stereo system. Also, I have a like new car cover (see photos) with a lock. Finally, I have the original manuals which go with the car.
