“MAGNIFICENT / UNMOLESTED” *FACTORY CORRECT* 1 OWNER 1973 {J-CODE} PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 47K DOCUMENTED MILES! Being an ultra excited classic car enthusiast has led me to appreciate special cars through the years. I am not easily impressed by every vintage car that I come across. That being said my mind, spirit and soul was moved when I stumbled across this particular Pontiac! This RARE 1 owner Grand Prix could be one of the most thoroughly documented, unmolested, clean J-code cars left in existence. To start I would first like to say that this car is absolutely gorgeous! It is very original & I believe anyone would be hard pressed to find one in better condition. While it is not yet another familiar face in the muscle car crowd {Camaro, Firebird, Chevelle, Mustang} etc. It captures more people’s attention than the most of the previously mentioned vehicles. This Grand Prix stokes random conversations all the time. It was ordered by the original owner. This vintage Pontiac has many special features {more about that later}. At first blush you will probably notice the one item that gets commented about most. That would be admiration of its beautiful factory {971 code Florentine Burgundy colored exterior}! This is a car that truly has to been seen in person to be appreciated! The paint simply radiates in the sun and it seems to fade into a dark ruby reddish color at dusk. There are absolutely no bondo or filler problems to be found in or on this car period! There has been no body work performed on this vehicle as far as I can ascertain. While the paint is extremely nice I will refrain from using the ever common phrase {show quality}. However I would venture to say if it’s not it can’t be far off. You won’t make it a single block without having someone give you the ole thumbs up. I took the car out of the garage to take pictures for this ad & to have the oil changed yet again at the local Meineke. The shop owner stated within the two hours that I left it there three people stopped in to ask about it and a couple questioned if it was for sale. He of course did not know that I was selling it. At any rate “she’s a real beauty”! You’re certain to captivate an audience each and every time she leaves the garage. The paint is believed to be original and there are no signs that would prove it different. That being said I can not verify it. I would like to mention that this car is also accident free. The body is laser straight! There’s not a single panel on the car has been compromised or damaged. It seems to be quite the chore nowadays to find a classic car hat has this designation. Once again this is a rare opportunity. This Pontiac G.P has a pristine black vinyl roof. The factory {C-08 code} Cordova vinyl top adds to the cars character. Of course it is in excellent shape. The top looks as new {no tears, stains, or damage at all}. The interior is simply stunning. Once you open the door of this Grand Prix I would venture to say that you’d be impressed. Right off the bat you will notice that the seats & the upholstery are in near mint condition. There is one very tiny stitch that is out of place on the driver’s seat edge. *Really not noticeable at all, but as always with my auctions everything is worth mentioning {no surprises}*. The unique yet subtle interior will cause you to think that you’re sitting on a Lazy Boy sofa of Grandpa’s love seat {especially when driving long distances}. The door panels are in excellent condition and headliner is flawless. The door courtesy lamps & door buzzer even still work. The seat belt warning indicator springs to life with a flick of the key as well. The turn signals, horn & interior illumination perform as they did on day one. This one’s a true testament to what a little car care & garage protection can do through the years. There where no punches pulled on the original owners options list. Here are yet more luxury appointments & special features that he desired to have in his G.P. Center Console Custom cushioned steering wheel Shoulder belts Trunk Mat Tilt steering wheel & an 8 track player. Before I forget I want to mention how thrilled I was to cruise this car. My neighbor honestly calls the car a rolling piece of art work. The window cranks & door handles are in great shape also. I most certainly can’t close without speaking about the cars power plant. This Gran Prix will bark the tires at the given command. There is a mean factory Pontiac 400 {4/V} that lies under the hood. Just a pat of the accelerator in the morning and she’s ready to roll. The motor is EXTREMELY POWERFULL & RESPONSIVE! Let’s have a look. Please listen to the video afforded. The car recently had a tune up & oil change. It is very dependable. No problems whatsoever…..she’s ready for the open road. FUN, FUN, FUN CAR TO DRIVE! Backing up all of the power supplied by the 400 4V is a Turbo Hydro transmission! This car has a lot of get up and go! The car feels like it’s riding on rails when she is on the highway. Road manners are more than appeasing thanks to a nice set of white stripe Michelin radials. I actually even adore the factory wheel covers. This ride really screams yesteryear! All & all I think that the new potential owner will be more than happy with this classic car. There is no issue that has to be addressed in regards to its condition. Right behind the front and rear bumper there are a couple of scratches but that’s pretty much it. The chrome bumpers are in great shape. All of the surrounding glass is in excellent condition {there’s literally not one chip or scratch to be found}. From every angle this vintage GM product presents quite a pretty picture. As previously stated you don’t see these cars anymore. Just look at this site alone. How many Camaros, Chevelles, etc do you see listed? Wherever you go ….you’ll hear questions like What is it? What year is that? Man that’s gorgeous & I haven’t seen one of them in a long time. The 2011 Hemmings Motor news tracker stated that these cars are expected to continue to sky rocket in value. Here’s your chance to get in on the ground floor. At the beginning of the ad I stated that this car was thoroughly documented. That may be the understatement of the year! When considering making an investment in a vintage vehicle “paperwork is king”! Keith Martins collector car investment guide puts original documentation as a top priority before making your move on a classic car. Barrett Jackson Auction house & the other top authorities in the game echo the same sentiment. Anyway ‘try beating this for documentation”! This car comes with the original dealers invoice, warranty booklets, factory manual, window sticker, dealers price list & warranty card! There’s still yet a litany of other historical records that I have yet to make mention of. For instance there is a detailed record log of service that’s been performed on the car through the years! I can’t imagine it getting much better than that. There are also a few special items that’s included with the sale of the car. Dealer special order customer appreciation maps, a Johnson & Johnson first aid kit, etc. This may be the most thoroughly documented vintage Grand Prix on the planet! It should make someone very happy! Don’t miss out! Serious buyers feel free to call 314-497-9470. If you have zero feedback or two or more negative feedback you please contact me prior to bidding. I have no time to play games. Most of my auctions end early. I am willing to work with the serious buyer to make his or her dream come true! I can arrange shipping in the US and overseas reasonably. There is an immediate NON refundable $500 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thanks for your interest & God Bless!
