Up for sale is my 1972 Datsun 240z that i bought many years ago with the hopes of restoring it. I drove the z home and parked it in the garage and never got around to working on it. The car still starts and drives under its own power. I usually start it a few times a year and change the oil once or twice a year to make sure everything is still well lubricated. The brakes and hand brake still work. The paint is in decent shape but it does show its age. The transmission (4 speed manual) shifts smoothly. Having said that, i would recommend the car be towed to its new home since i haven't serviced it in quite some time. The body is in very good shape as well as the undercarriage. There is certainly rust, but its mainly surface rust. The seats (not original z seats) are in very good condition and have no rips in them. Some plastic trim in the trunk areas is missing as shown in the pictures. Someone many years ago installed a moon roof and they did a great job as it looks factory. The z is in very good shape for its age. The only down side is that i cannot find the title so the car is being sold without a title. Only a bill of sale will be included.
