1968 Dodge Charger "General Lee" NO RESERVE PRICING....NO BIDDING WARS....YOU WANT IT....BUY IT!! 383ci. engine with a little chrome, 727 transmission.....not a hot rod per sey but just a good running engine. Mainly stock but has 4bbl, headers and glass packs....runs good & sounds great! Was an original A/C car but compressor locked up (wasn't hooked up anyway) so we removed it...needless to say, air & heat to not work Body was restored about 5 years ago and garage kept ever since.....paint is still good although this is NOT a flawless show car. All of the lights work but the head lights doors need to be raised manually as I never got around to redoing the vaccum system. Good interior, dixie horn, am/fm CD player with small amp.....CB radio in place but was never hooked up (was just for looks) No rust in trunk (original was replaced with fiberglass before we bought the car)....good floors & quarters. New gas tank, sending unit & battery Small leak on power steering Good tires...maybe 2000 miles on them. Odometer showing 2754 but it's flipped of course......speedometer moody, works great sometimes, other times it jumps. Gas gauge needs calibrated...shows 1/2 tank when full. Windshield has small 2.5" crack at the base on the passenger side, has been there for years and hasn't spread...nor does it distrack from the look of the car as it can barely be seen Over all for a 44 year old car, it's in great shape at an afordable price and is a real attention getter!! This is might be the only time the car will be listed as I'm still on the fence about selling it so don't miss your chance!
