Vehicle Detail
Very nice Bronco! Selling it for my buddy who is a retired Master Sergeant currently contracting in the Middle East. He is available for questions I can't answer. Have clear title. Now, about the truck. It was a multi year project for him. I am a 29 year mechanic and did most of the suspension and driveline work. The engine is a stock 302 out of a 84 Econoline. Had 35,000 on it when pulled out and has probably 5,000 miles on it since installation. 2 bbl Motorcraft carb, rebuilt with new electric choke and new choke pull-off. The ignition system is a Petronix. Header mfg unknown. Fires up dead cold just bumping the key. Runs great, no oil consumption. The trans is a rebuilt C4. Richmond gears front and rear, 4.11 rear, 4.10 front. Auburn Pro locker in rear and Powertrax in front. MAG-HYTEC front diff cover. Both driveshafts rebuilt 2000 miles ago. Warn locking hubs. James Duff 3 1/2" suspension kit with dual shocks on all 4 corners, 2" body lift. Quick ratio steering gear (2.5/3.0:1) and Saginaw pump conversion kit. I retained the p.s. cooler. The quick ratio box and small steering wheel is the bomb! I couldn't believe how much easier it was to drive. Okay, back to the description........... The tires have less than 5000 miles on them, TSL Thornbirds, 35x12.50-17LT on 17" Colorado Custom wheels (inc the spare!). The floor pan, rocker panels, and fenderwell are new, welded in and the interior Rhino lined. Front disc brake conversion uses the 75-95 GM truck pad, think they're 11" rotors. Shoes, wheel cyls, and springs new, power brakes stop like a champ. The top is a Bestop in great condition. Painless Performance wiring harness front to rear, Dakota digital dash has rev limit and other features. Center console is a locking console with keys. Glovebox is missing. The aftermarket bumpers have receivers (Class III/IV) front and rear. The Corbeau bucket seats and 3 point harness are also new. It has some rust and some paint blemishes (shown in pics) that I found. It ain't a perfect truck, imagine that! Other than that, this is one sweet Bronco. This is a no reserve auction, highest bidder gets it. It is for sale locally so I reserve that right. On Aug-03-12 at 19:17:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention, the heat, defrost, and fresh air cables and switches are new and work great. Heater control valve and heater core have also been replaced. The 4WD has the dual shifter on it and the auto is a column shift. On Aug-03-12 at 19:22:39 PDT, seller added the following information: If you have less than 10 feedback and/or new to ebay, please contact me prior to bidding this vehicle up or I will cancel your bid. Been there too many times the past 10 years. Sorry, but experience has been a painful lesson on ebay.On Aug-05-12 at 08:09:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Question, "Is deposit refundable if I don't buy the vehicle?". Uh, no.
