The car is in very good overall condition for a 15 year old car.I am not the original owner and do not have a lot of service history prior to owning it. I have owned the car for 6 years and have devoted a lot of money mantaining and keeping the car in great condition. Mechanically i would rate the car in excellent condition, the interior is in excellent condition the exterior is in good condition. To my knowledege the car has never been in an accident. The interior is very clean, all leather is perfect (pictures are sunlight there is no fading), the exterior is in good condition some minor dings and surface scratches that are normal on a 15 year old car. Almost completely rust free except for one tiny spot on hatch under the license plate and one small spot where the paint has chipped at the bottom of the driver’s side door and one small chip on the hood. The tires are brand new and have less than 2000 miles and are in very good condition. The car mechanically is in very good condition. Runs and drives strong, no leaks, does not burn oil, no problems that I am aware of except for cruise control does not work. I have put quite a bit of money and work into this car over the last few years. I just put over $5,000 into it in March of this year at 164,400 miles. Replaced the oil pressure switch that was leaking, had all 4 original rims sent out to be straightened and balanced, replaced the tires on the car, replaced the rear calipers and replaced brake hoses with stainless steel, replaced the emergency brake cable and associated hardware, evacuate and recharge a/c, replaced thermostat, replaced all cooling system hoses with silicone, cooling system service, replaced water pump, had a full alignment done, replaced windshield washer tank pumps and hoses, new battery. In November 2010 at around 161,500 spent over $3000 in upgrades, had Porsche Boxter calipers and A8 rotors put on the front of the car, 034 motorsports stage 1 package with RS2 injectors and wastegate new ignition modules. I wanted to do this upgrade for a long time and it has really improved this already great car considerably. Interior upgrades. The factory Bose stereo was pretty mediocre. I installed an Alpine head unit with Ipod Inter face. I have MB Quarts seperates with crossovers installed in all 4 doors. I built a custom sub box with an 8 inch sub that is neatly tucked away into one of the wheel well hatches. There are two amp tucked away in the other wheel well hatch. Has a nice MOMO shift knob, replaced the sunroof switch unit. At about 145,000 miles I had a new power steering pump and new steering rack put in the vehicle. At 132,000 miles I had the prop shaft seals replaced in the differential, replaced water pump, replaced timing belt and tensioner, replaced ribbed belt, replaced starter, replaced heater control valve, cleaned fuel injectors, resealed heads. I have receipts to document all the work. It is a really nice car but I am ready to move on as I have new projects to tackle. Not looking to give it away as I have invested a significant amount. However looking for someone who knows the rarity of this can and will enjoy owning and driving it.
