This is an excellent example of a 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500. This car is in fantastic condition inside and out. It's clean, and it runs and rides like a new car. With just 47,561 miles on it, it's barely broken in. Options include the Panorama Roof, AMG Sport package, Comfort Package, Navigation CD collection, and Wood Trim Package - that's about $9400 in factory options. Exterior features include 18" AMG wheels, the AMG aero kit (includes unique front fascia and side skirts) and fog lamps. The exterior is in great shape, and the paint shines all around. The color is called Firemist Red' and it looks FANTASTIC on this car. There are no notable dents or dings anywhere on the car, and Carfax shows no accident history or any other problems. The convertible hard top is fully automatic. No latches, levers, or boots to mess with. This car also has a power roll bar with a wind screen. The interior is also in excellent shape. The leather seats have no rips or tears, and aren't showing any appreciable wear. The carpets and door panels are also in excellent shape. There are no burn marks, and there is no smoke odor in the car. Both seats have power controls with memory. They're also heated and ventilated These optional multi-contour seats will also massage your back with a pulse lumbar feature. This SL has some nice convenience features: Power locks, windows, and mirrors; BOSE AM/FM/CD Changer Stereo; Cruise control; Power tilt and telescopic steering wheel; Auto dual-zone air conditioning; HomeLink gate / garage opener, Rear defroster and much more. The SL1 wood trim package includes optional wood on the steering wheel and shift knob. The automatic transmission has a manual shift mode. It also has the Active Body Control (ABC) suspension system and ride height control. Safety features include dual air bags, side air bags, ESP traction & stability control, and anti-lock brakes. The 6 disc CD Changer is located in a compartment behind the driver's seat. The large color screen displays navigation maps and info, as well as audio system information. The screen also acts as a control center for the audio system. The optional Panorama roof has a manual sun shade. The books are with the car, and so is the cup holder, cargo net and CD collection for the navigation system. There's decent storage space in the trunk with the top up. There is less space with the top down, but you do have access to usable cargo area. The 5.0 liter engine is rated at 302 hp and 339 lb-ft or torque. This car runs smooth and strong. Actual mileage is now 47,561 and counting. Carfax shows accurate mileage an no problems. This car may be driven, so it could have a few more miles on it by the time the auction is over.
