I purchased this car from the original owner’s family. It’s been a North Carolina car all its life, and kept garaged. I took the car apart and had it painted: there is not a spec of rust anywhere. No previous rust repairs, no body damage, all original steel panels, fenders, floor, trunk… basically, a beautiful, straight body. It was painted with MG color BLBU38 Blue Royale (original color was Harvest Gold). It has the original 1275cc engine. It runs and drives great. No smoke from the exhaust and no engine or transmission oil leaks. Shifts perfectly (no grinding). Drives straight down the road (no pulling or looseness). I’ve installed an Austin-Healy grille and Panasport wheels, but kept all the original parts including the front bumper. The car is absolutely complete, and the radio even works.
