I have for sale a 1954 Willys Truck that my grandfather and I started to restore 2 years ago and we have both ran out of time and ambition to finish this project....all the hard work is done....just needs the finishing touches. The truck runs great and is on the road. All gears and 4-wheel drive works as well as all gauges and lights. Truck was taken down to metal and primered...most of the body work has been done....the roof still needs attention. The truck has all new wiring, break lines, all new break hoses, and all the rusted metal has been cut out and new metal welded in. It has an original Willys heater installed, have not hooked up the hoses to it yet but power is ran to it. Truck could use some new window gaskets as the ones that are on it are showing their age. The tires are military issue and in very good shape. All parts to complete the truck are there except for the interior trim kit. We have done a lot of work on this truck to get it to this point and are very proud of the condition so far. We have a photo book that shows most of the work that has been done to the truck so far. We tried to keep the truck as orginal as possible, the only thing that we have changed from original so far is we put 6 volt windshield wiper motors in, instead of the original vacuum style. This truck was the 10th one off of the production line in 1954. Some body changes took place in 1954, this one was so early in the production that it has some of the new changes but yet still shows some of the old features like the small back window and the running boards. Either finish the restoration project or pull the motor and repower it to make it into a street rod, or the ultimate 4-wheel drive, or just drive it like it is.....up to you. Truck is sold as is. Buyer responsible for pickup or delivery of vehicle. $500.00 payment through paypal within 24 hours of auction end is required, and balance due upon pickup in the form of either a money order or cash. Vehicle must be picked up within a resonable amount of time (2 weeks), unless a later date is agreed apon with me.
