Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. It is a "C" code 289 with an Edelbrock 4V intake, carb, and dress up kit on the engine. It has a C-4 automatic transmission with a newer B&M hammer shifter. It has nice interior that was freshened up in 2008 with new headliner, carpet, seat covers, intrument cluster with tach, floor mats, and seat belts. Also in 08 the engine and transmission were rebuilt. The car runs and drives very good, everything is tight. The engine recieved a stock rebuild but was upgraded with an MSD box and coil. It has standarsd brakes, the front have been coverted to disc, that stop the car well. It has manual steering but was originally a power steering car. The rear end is a standard open 8". Wheels and tires are in great shape. BFG tires on Crager wheels. Exhuast is dual flowmasters that are turned down just before the rear valance. I have a video of it running and a walk-around on my I-phone that I can send at your request, just send me an email or text. The body is very solid. The only rust repair that I can find was in each of the lower quarter, but is fixed. The rest of the body and paint work is amatuer at best. Although it looks very good in the pictures it really needs repainted, block sanded, etc. There is some bubbling on the roof, looks like its some type of reaction with the paint. All of that said it would still make a nice daily driver car, just not one I personally would take to the shows. Drive it now and enjoy it for awhile before tearing into it. The floors pans are original and in good shape. The front rails are in good shape. The front rail extensions will need some attention. They look like they have been bottomed out on a huge speedbump. They are not rusty and it doesnt affect the cars handling, but I have a set of new rail extension to throw in with the car to put it at your convenience. The rear rails are in great shape and rust free, as is the trunk area, drops, etc. Overall the car is a good daily driver type, that with an improvement here and there will be a nice local show car that anyone can drive and enjoy. Any questions can be directed to my email, cell phone via call or text. 765-376-3486 Thanks and happy bidding !!!! I also have the Marti report available for those whom are interested.
