Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car from a man who got the car after the original owner passed away. The Seller I got it from had an inexpensive paint job put on it and let his son drive it through high school. The paint is just as described, inexpensive and only looks good from about 20 ft. The original color is red with black interior. I intended on keeping it and fully restoring it but after investing nearly 13k into the car, financial circumstances have changed. Here is a list of what I have done: I had the floor pans and seat pedestals replaced by a local fabricator. The underside of the floor was undercoated by a body shop. The transmission was powder coated black and fully rebuilt with a new torque converter (C-4) as well as new stainless transmission lines. The exhaust system was completely replaced using a stock system from Virginia Classic Mustang. The interior has new sound deadening kit, carpet kit, reupholstered front seats with new tracks and springs, new door panels, new kick panels, and new chrome rock panels. I installed all new locks (ignition, door, and trunk). The ignition switch was also replaced. The interior is not perfect but actually very nice. As far as the engine it ran pretty well when I got it so not much was done to it. While it was out waiting for the floors to be done I cleaned it up, put a Milodon oil pan on, new oil pump, and chrome valve covers. The car has a new starter, solenoid, voltage regulator, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The Fuel filter and gas tank were also both replaced. That's what has been done. The car drives well. From time to time it stumbles a little on start up, I think a carb rebuild would be a good idea at some point (2 barrel). It will leave a drop of oil on the ground now and again as well. The body is in pretty decent condition. The front driver fender has a dent in the lower front corner by the bumper. There is also a little bubbling on the lower driver and passenger doors from poor prep. That's the good and the bad on the car. If you have any questions or would like to see a certain view feel free to call or e-mail me BEFORE bidding. I want to make sure there are no surprises. It is an 46 year old car so it still needs some restoration but I have literally spent 13k total on this car, that's not a sales ploy. Good luck bidding !!!! 1cerini@comcast.net707-799-9460 On Jul-17-12 at 12:42:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Some photos have been added by request. Some rust in the trunk, it is surface rust not rot. Any additional photos wanted I will be happy to send them direct to your e-mail address.
