I built this car about 8 years ago and converted it to a turbo patterned after the Power Haus 968 turbo conversions. I used all Porsche parts except for the custom intake manifold. I built it to drive, not to race. The exhaust manifold is part 968/944. Wiring harness and computer is 968 with a custom chip from dyno testing. Stock 968s have 200 RWHP. This car was tested at 280 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno. This is about 325 RWHP on a modern dyno or about 350 HP at the crank! Less than 5k miles since build. Rebuilt: motor, transaxle with TORSON added, alternator, starter, clutch, A/C, oil pressure sender, heating system, gauges. Added features: Blaupunkt Honolulu, Window Express(both windows),Keyless entry, Big Black(Porsche Turbo) brakes with correct proportioning valve, large HMR aluminum radiator made for this application, short throw shifter. Beautiful steering wheel upgrade to 996 - engineered to fit and work as stock! Factory options: Front washer system, 17” wheels, Premium Sound System, 6 spd, TORSON(positraction),rare factory 968 turbo catalytic convertor.
