1972 Toyota FJ40. Ford 302 engine and transmission (very common in Australia) with Toyota transfer case. Transmission was professionally tweaked within the last six months. Solid body with a strong engine. Has new carburetor, covers, gaskets and exhaust. Idle needs to be tinkered with a bit and it burns a little oil, which is common for these. Durabak interior/exterior. Full custom roll cage. Hard doors. Tire carrier. Wiring was just professionally installed. New LED brake lights. 4-wheel shifter needs to be hooked up. Custom dash in place. Have FJ dash that can be installed. Previous owner used mainly for hunting/rock crawling. Was supposed to be a project car for me, but haven't found time. Therefore, it has no tags and I never got a title from the previous owner. The ad lists it as a "rebuilt..." title because eBay will not allow that tab to be left blank. (To obtain a title in TX, you simply need to show proof of purchase to DMV.). Seatbelts are not hooked up, so will have to be trailered when purchased. This rig has a strong engine, and with a bit of work, would be a great rock crawler or weekend vehicle. A bit more could get it to daily driver status. This is a re-posting. The original buyer backed out because apparently thought he was getting a pristine, fully restored gem for under $10k!
