HIGH BIDDER SAYS HE BID BY MISTAKESo here it is again3 Day auctionNO RESERVE Good old 1980 Westfalia camper with all the camping extras in the backGreat van for someone who wants the original, real thing to restore This is a Vanagon L model Westfalia camperSOLD WITH NO RESERVEBeen sitting for several years and ran and drove when parked. Have the receipt for the rebuilt engine from years ago but I don't know if it will run or not. It rolls and the tires hold air. WILL HAVE TO BE TOWED OR TRAILERED. This van has traveled all over the US and was well used and loved by it's previous owners. They were sad to see it goI rescued it from their driveway after sitting for many yearsThe vanagon is restorable and complete including all the canvas and cushions, upper bunk cushions, stove, sink, fridge etc. I think it has a heater as well. The front seats are in very good condition and swivel around to face the rear.The white top will clean up nicely with a power wash and it does not leak. I think the canvas in the top is good. I opened it part way and the previous owner told me he remembered it being good.Several manuals are included, two table tops and the table frames are there and completeThere is some rust but overall the metal is good and straight with no bondo/putty and the underbody appears very solidGlass is all good and doors and windows all fuction as they shouldPlease see all the pictures.The van needs plenty of work and should be considered when bidding. It is a good, solid, complete restorable vanagonI have a complete parts van that has an engine in it that ran and drove when parked as well but it is NOT included in this auction but available to high bidder at a price to be determined/ negotiated.Clear titles for both vanagonsA 400 deposit is due at end of auction and full payment due within 7 days of end of auction.The van is in Cape May Nj at a self storage facility. Buyer will assume storage fee of 35. per month from day of auction ending forward. Seller has paid all prior.There are no back fees or other fees of any kind as long as the storage fee is paid monthly. Buyer can also move the van at any time.
