1968 Dodge Charger for Sale!!!!! I have decided to sell a couple of the Mopar's in my collection as I am sick and have little time to restore them. This Charger I bought from the Wife(elderly) of a Man who bought it new and passes away in I believe in 1989. The Charger is in very nice original condition with 88K orig mile's and never having any major work done. The Charger is a rare White Hat Special that has the #'s matching 225 Slant 6, 904 Auto Trans and 7 1/4 Rear. When I bought the car it had been in dry heated storage since 1989 and still has the NYS 1990 Registration and Inspection Sticker's on the Windshield. After I brought it home I purchased some new minor Tune up parts along with a Master Cyl and Starter, primed the oil pump and within minute's this Charger started with no smoke and peered like a kitten. This Charger has Power Steering, Manual Drum Brake's however I have the upgraded "A" body Spindals, New Caliper's, Rotor's, Ball Joint's, Tie Rod End's, Bushing's,etc that will go with the car if sold. I may even have the V8 Engine craddle by the time is ad is finished.(pending sale). The car run's and drive's very nicely although upgrading the Brake's to disc and replacing the front suspension was what I wanted to do. The Charger Headlight Door's work perfectly as does all the Guage's and Light's in the Ralley Dash. The clock does not work. This Charger has very little rust! The Floor's, Rocker's, Cowl, Door's, Trunk Lid, Hood, Fender's, Valence's and Frame are Perfect! The Trunk has 2-3 small pin hole's only!!! The Quarter's at the very bottom as they wrap under and meet the pinch weld's have outer panel rust only. The extension's and well's are perfect. The only other area's are the bottom of the rear Glass on the corner's of the inner sail panel's. This are has some deep bubbling although I see no rust hole's or daylight through. Still will need some type of repair. The front windshield has some minor bubbling at the bottom under the SS moulding. Not a big deal. Personally I feel you would be hard pressed to find another 100% unrestored, no accident's, bondo,etc Charger with very little rust for what I am selling this car for. I have seen 68/69 Charger's rotten to death for $6-12K on Ebay sell and this is far from that condition and reasonably priced. This car come's with the perfect Build Sheet I found behind the back seat as well as the Certi Card, and other Original Paperwork. This car is for sale locally therefore I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The car must be paid and all fund's cleared, prior to car leaving. I also recommend anyone to inspect the car prior to bidding and prior to auction ending. Yes the car is tuned up and runs very well with no smoking, knocking, over heating or any problem. The Gas Tank is still in the car and will need to be removed and either boiled or replaced as the little bit of gas was stale. I temp by-passed it(nothing cut or removed). The other question was leak's. Yes from sitting the rear end cover drip's as does the tranny from and rear seal's. Included in the sale are all of these seal's to fix. Finally the radio is aftermarket however the mounting area was not modified. No I do not have the original Radio. Well you have it, that's all everything else real nice. Please serious only.
