Vehicle Detail
Here is a great deal on a one owner 1993 Pontiac Bonneville, my aunt and unclepurchased this car in 1993 right off the showroom floor. This vehicle has beengarage kept for most of the 20 years since it’s production. My aunt had kept every single receipt in thepast 20 years for this car from tires to oil changes , the winning bidder willreceive a folder the size of a bible filled with the entire history of thiscar---Everything from the window sticker to the first tire rotation… In 20years my aunt and uncle had put roughly 95k miles on the car, 5 k miles a year-----crazy huh…..I am sorry for taking pictures of the car dirty but he didnot have a chance to wash it…. Car has been sitting outside for last year since… there new car took priority over the garage space …….This car is super clean for being a 20 year old vehicle, thebody on this car is super straight with very little dings, scratches or marks…the paint on this car will shine up nicely take this car to a detail shop for$100 and you will be amazed-----you really have to see this car in person…There is some paint fading on the trunk spoiler and on both driver andpassenger mirrors----my aunt knocked offthe passenger side mirror pulling out of the garage a few years ago and myuncle and I painted a new one with spray paint and clear coat----not a pro jobbut showed nice for years---now its starting to fade --- other than a feweasily paintable spots like the mirrors and spoiler –the body is nice The motor runs like a bear, the v6 3800 pontiac motors arepretty reliable and move the car around fairly well---you won’t be doing 10second ¼ miles but the motor will get you anywhere you have to go-- --parts forthis car our cheap and most do it yourself types can do a lot of the basicmaint on this car. My uncle had the same mechanic for years who worked on this car since new. The car isdue for a oil change and the airconditioning stopped working…. Ac compressor will run you anywhere from $50(ebay) to $150 (auto parts store) ----myuncle is pretty sure it will need to be replaced---- the car runsgreat----idles nicely and still will get up and get out of it’s own way…--- Ido hear a exhaust leak coming from up front---not really bad at all however you can hear it ---as the car warms up it startsto go away…. The tranny shifts through the gears just as it should nice andsmooth….. everything works on this car except for the ac/brake line and fog lamps ----the car drives pretty good as well, however it could use aset of tires soon----you will get through the summer---but if you plan onmoving through the snow in the winter you will need new tires and a front endalignment …this thing will go through snow like a tank----This front wheeldrive tank with traction control will go through snow with no issues-------put adecent set of tires on this car and go through any New England winterthe interior is in excellent condition, but will need to becleaned… the car still has that linger of new car smell… even after 20 years….The bucket seats are fantastic….. if you ever build a hot rod---go to the junkyard and find a set of Pontiac buckets---- the driver’s seat has the most wear----some cracks but not horrible… thepassenger seat looks great …. The back seats look like new--- the carpets haveminimal wear and stains ----the dash and door panels also look great withminimal wear-----the only issue the car has is that a Rear brake line on thepassenger side rear rotted out and will need to be replaced---I took a photo ofthe rotted brake line as shown in the pics portion of this listing… The onlything needed to make this car operational is a rear brake line….my aunt anduncle do not want to another dollar into this car now they have a new vehicle…and I do not have the time to make the repair… this is a easy repair…brake line will run you maybe $70 and itwill take a couple hours to install and bleed the brakes----the car willstop but the pedal will go to the floorand the brake line will spray brakefluid…. You only have to replace a small run of brake line ….. the car is non operational only because of thebrake line----the vehicle will have to be towed or out of my uncle’sdriveway… He does not want anybody winning the car and making the repair in hisdriveway either ----please be prepared to tow/trailer/ or flatbed the caraway--- you can drive this car onto a trailer and apply brakes but the fluid will spray … car will stop though..\ my uncle is a reasonable guy andunderstands that you may need a week to set up a trailer or find a tow truck---he only asks that no one works on this car in his driveway… transportation of this vehicle is the sole responsibility ofthe winning bidder….and the car is being sold as is where is in the conditionstated ----again this car needs a brake line in order to be operated on thestreet… the car will run and drive just not stop safely with the rottedbrake line… the car will need to be towed to its new location…. The vehicle islocated in west haven C..T. 06516 and could be viewed in person by appt only I encourage any interested parties to come and check the carout----bring your mechanic, dad, mom, girlfriend, boyfriend --- anybody you would like ----tow this car right to your mechanic or make the repair in your own drive way… car is worth it -----\Please keep in mind this is a 20 year old car that’s in really good shape, But it is not a new car---------------------------------------- and like any 20 year old cars it is not perfect…. Again this car is being sold as is where is and please do not bid unless all your questions/concerns have been answered … you must be able to follow through with the auction if you plan on bidding---and have the car moved off the property…if you have any concerns on transportation feel free to contact me anytime maybe I can help-----\In case there is anything I missed feel free to ask----takea good look through the photos and bidto win---vehicle is selling with no reserve -----highest bidder takes it ----I also have a 95 lincoln mark 8 listed for my parents-----both cars are within 3 minutes of each other ----so if you plan on seeing one ----you can see both within minutes spend a few dollars and have this car on the road in a fewhours------vehicle just passed emissions and is good til 2014----- *This 1993 Pontiac Boneville has a SE Trim Line and IS NOT A SSE. This Is a Non supercharged car-------Sorry for any Confusion---Any questions let me knowThanks
