1972 Pontiac GTO. Number matching,full frame off restoration in 2002. Car was completely dismantled in 2001. Engine sent out to Pro Motion in East hanover NJ for complete rebuild. Transmission was resealed,and entire driveline redone. Car was built with manual steering and drum brakes. Car was upgraded to front disc brakes by MP,and power steering added. Rear suspension was upgraded to Global West System. Most of interior is original but seat foam was replaced to make them feel like new. Because this car was built to be driven it has radials,and entire underside was undercoated prior to putting back on frame. Dashboard was redone by Just Dashes in California. Though we put car back together,all body work was done by local well known GTO restorer Pet Sole. Paint is clear over base,and looks better than when new. I have only taken car to one show,and people always come up to it,and admire it. The car is not perfect,but awfully close. This was a father,and sons project and has many fond memories attached to it,but time to let someone else enjoy.
