Up for bids is a 1973 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Mileage is 50,579. The car is complete and starts, runs and drives. The frame is rust free and solid. The body is rust free except for both rocker panels (see video). Both floor pans were rusted out and have been repaired with aluminum. We inhereted this car from my father and have never registered it. It runs well and shifts through all 4 gears, but beyond that I cannot guarantee any roadworthyness. The engine does not smoke and there are no strange noises coming from the engine, tranny or differential. The steering is tight. The brakes work. This car is a great candidate for a restoration.
